warzone2100" "--debug=all" "--debugfile=/tmp/wzdbg.txt
Ubuntu 9.10 x64 / Dell Vostro 1000 laptop / R300 driver

Crashes 5 to 15 seconds after the skirmish starts

it might only be a bug in the map but I'm just doing this report to be safe.

That was a video driver crash. A bit of google told me that Dell Vostro 1000 is equipped with a ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 IGP. Is this true in your case? This ware isn't good for trunk code...

Btw, what about standard maps? Do they crash too?

I have had very few issues with the standard maps I have used, beside some missing tiles and the multi-player LAN game I talked about in another bugreport.

This map runs fine on my HTPC ( Mythbuntu 9.10 x64 + NV8400 ) also running the trunk.
I forgot to try it on my HTPC until just now.

I don't really use my laptop to play games that much but do compile and test with it.
