Initial power amount in Gamma1 depending on how mission was started #1939

When starting gamma 1 mission straight after finishing beta campaign (without quitting the game) then we get 16000 power from beginning.
But if we for example save game after finishing that campaign and then quit and later try to resume then we will got 0 power.
It probably happens at least from 2.3.0 beta times, I've seen something like that, but that time I think that I've got 160 power, enough to build oil derrick but nothing more.
I have savegames for each mission so I can also attach one from beginning of last beta mission if someone wants to see how it looks like when we don't quit after finishing beta campaign.

Do you have the savegame right before this ? It already is 0 with this save game.

I have only one for B10 -> B11 (just before evacuation, with visible results of another power related bug - big power amount).

Well, I had 31K, then it goes to 16K, saved game, quit out. Load that savegame again, and I still have 16K power.

What am I missing ?

Save it on summary screen after mission ends, end game, load this save and you have 0.
I've just checked it using 2.3 branch (mostly 2.3.1 code).

Ok, thanks for the info.

The problem is after the load, it thinks it is of a gametype of GTYPE_SCENARIO_START, which clears the power.

The other times, it is a gametype of GTYPE_SAVE_START, which don't clear the power.

Unsure what to do about this at the moment, since the transition level is of type GTYPE_SAVE_START.

I am also stuck with this problem. Had lots of power when I escaped from Beta base (about 10.000), saved the game at the score screen, continued to play gamma1. Didn't finish and didn't save, next day when loading it I have zero power. No way to continue the campaign

It's still there in current master...

Also when loaded with 0 power the "white power bar" bug appeared too.

No reports of this happening with script conversion starting in 08248b814dfcb40033e890d0250b4815b4d10bfd and cb19c7672fe915b95795e3af33c63c9d567faccc.
