I'm not sure whether this is a feature or a bug. When clicked on a very very precise spot on the oil well, it stop pulsating, and even on the minimap it appears as a tiny dot. Reproducible every time. If you can't then try zooming really in and hovering right above the well... and then keep clicking. Attached screenie

It was meant as a feature I guess, the pulsing notifies you of something new, and clicking on it it "I got it, stop annoying me now".

Ok, I get it. But even as a feature, I guess it shouldn't be hard to do, I have to click like a tens of times to get the pulsing to stop. If it was meant to stop pulsing, shouldn't it have done that in just one click? Or at least a double-click?

I had no problem getting them to stop, clicking on the center of the blip (after finding out that you meant in the game, not on the mini map...).
