Running warzone2100.exe on Windows 2000 results in an error message with the following text:

"The procedure entry point freeaddrinfo could not be located in the dynamic link library WS2_32.dll."

That is odd.

Minimum supported client
	Windows 2000 Professional

Minimum supported server
	Windows 2000 Server

Ws2_32.lib

Do you have all service packs applied for your version of Windows 2000 ?

We can't really do anything besides tell you to update the OS if possible.
If not, then I am afraid your only option is to use XP or higher, or linux.
