In alpha-7, there will be enemy transports arriving at different places on the map. The top-left of these locations is on a ridge, close to where the player is expected to build a forward base.

However, the drop location should be moved 1 field east, as occasionally, one of the units will be unloaded into the valley below, close to the second oil derric from Alpha-1. While this adds an interesting twist (I could imagine having a full transport unload there, to do a back-side attack on the player), a single unit is too weak to do much damage, and at the same time makes the main drop off force weaker.
