start any game in 3.1 and go the cannon route and do the same on 3.2 and you will find that balance of the units is all over the map

trying to find what the issue is
some units are OP and some are UP
the same strategy that we normally use on 3.1 fails on 3.2

the accuracy or damage is different than before because of the range removal so strategy is swayed

There is no longer any distinction between short and long range for accuracy purposes. The new accuracy stat is the average of the two. This is because both the existence of this difference and when it would take effect was impossible to learn from the game itself.

this is causing former mainly short range units to be OP at a range where they should not be like the flamers
if you use 3.1 with the range circles you will see the difference more clearly

In Warzone2100/warzone2100@11150da:

#CommitTicketReference repository="" revision="11150dacac874ee973b94cee3a63175ed933d112"
stats: Fix inconsistent body points of droids.

Body points shown (with a red mark) when hovering now match the body points when choosing the component, which both now
approximately (with slight variations due to rounding differences) match the old body points from 3.1.

Hopefully fixes #4369.
