No Shadows in beta2, its just dark #4378

resolution_fixed type_bug | by terminator


turning on shadows just makes all darker like there is only one big shadow in the world. however buildings are not effected (highlighted)

Seems to work for me — maybe it's a driver bug? Does it make a difference whether you use Intel or nVidia rendering?

this is weird I just tried a game and I also have the dark overlay but I still see shadows
it seems random?

Works for me on the Qt frontend, but I can reproduce on the SDL frontend… Weird…

sdl frontend: Enable stencil buffer so that shadows work.

The stencil buffer is enabled by default in Qt, so no changes needed in the Qt frontend.

Fixes #4378.
