Playing Version 2.2.2 I came upon an error three times where my commander turret would cause the energy cost of a vehicle to soar far and above what it displayed in the design screen.
While the design screen would show the expected cost with a red line as usual prior to equipping, upon clicking the commander turret, the price bar under the thumbnail of the unit would immediately extend across the entire bottom of the thumbnail, and the commander would be exorbitantly expensive to produce.
I have only played skirmish games since I noticed this error, and have noticed it any time I've attempted to build a commander unit. I was sure that for an error like this to slip by, I must have managed to hit some sort of small trigger, but I can't find anything out of the ordinary that causes it, as it has happened on different maps, and in skirmishes with AIs and humans. I haven't tested campaign mode.
It's incredibly frustrating, as commanders form the backbone of my large scale armies, keeping them manageable, but I cannot afford to produce them until late in the game.
