keyword_polygon_filter_features resolution_wontfix type_bug | by Mysteryem

It look like this was disabled. But it was used on object with textures that had transparency to ensure that they had a crisp edge. With this not working the new arazona plants don't look right. (see attachement)

I never heard of this texture filtering before. Got any references to / descriptions of it?

Most PIEs' polygons have it off. This blurs/smooths the texture in game making it look less pixalated. Black Project always turned on the filtering. In his screenshot everything appears to be being filtered: http://forums.wz2100.net/download/file.php?id=3587&mode=view, it's much more pixalated than normal.

Oops, should read: "Most Pies' polygons have texture filtering on.[...]Black Project always turned off the filtering. In his screenshot everything appears to not be being filtered:"

Mysteryem, the texture filtering was used in original wz 1.xx version. It's now removed from the game, because the texture is filtered during TEXPAGE loading. I can hint you that if you'll use a somewhat larger texture then the smoothing will be less visible - just try to enlarge some 256px texture to 1024px (of course it will work if you set max texture size in video options to 1024 or more).

It's been disabled since then!? Turns out BP had actually just enlarged the texpage. Hmm, I could include the new tree textures too if I enlarged the files. I'll experiment with that and then release the mod for the people on the forums. I'm also thinking about enlarging page 10 as the pipe features use it and they have transparent ends.

I guess that this ticket can be closed, since 'texture filtering' flag will not be revived due to possible game speed issues and there is a workaround for the specified problem.
