Config folder

<username> is your login name, <version> is the version of Warzone, e.g. "2.3" or "trunk".

• Windows XP and lower: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Warzone 2100 <version>\
• Windows Vista and higher: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Warzone 2100 <version>\
• Linux: ~/.warzone2100-<version> (~ is /home/<username>)
• Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/Warzone 2100 <version>/ (~ is /Users/<username>)

The following are all directories/files in the config folder, the same on all systems:

Config file

It is called "config".

Screenshots

Saved in "screenshots".

Logs

Saved in "logs". You will see both netplay-*.log and WZlog-*.txt where * is the date you played the game.

Savegames

Saved in "savegame", a savegame consists of name.gam, possibly name.es and all files in the name subdirectory.

Maps

Put them into "maps", one .wz file per map, or they can't be transferred to other players when you host a game. Maps transferred to you will be saved here as well.

Mods

Mods go into a subdirectory of "mods".

Crashdumps

• Windows: warzone2100.rpt in the "logs" subdirectory of the config folder.
• Linux: /tmp/warzone2100.gdmp-*, the exact file name gets printed on the console.
• Mac: Warzone_<date>_<comptername>.crash in ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/ or ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/ depending on os version.
